Delivered in August 2025, the objective was to create a space that balances durability, safety, and functionality while accommodating continuous student activity. The cafam laboratory required a flexible and well organized layout capable of supporting multiple users simultaneously, providing a professional environment that enhances hands on learning while maintaining structured workflows and efficient use of the laboratory space.

• The Challenge
One of the main challenges of the cafam laboratory project was designing a space capable of supporting constant academic use while maintaining safety and operational organization. Educational laboratories require environments that can handle high student turnover, varied experience levels, and continuous activity. Ensuring safe workflows, proper circulation, and controlled work areas was essential. Additionally, the laboratory needed to incorporate controlled environments for specific procedures while maintaining overall flexibility for teaching activities and consistent daily laboratory performance.

• Our Approach
To address these requirements, the cafam laboratory was developed using materials and equipment selected for durability and academic functionality. The workstations were built with phenolic countertops, providing chemical resistant and durable surfaces suitable for student use. metal cabinets was incorporated to ensure organized and secure storage, while laboratory chairs were selected to support comfort during extended sessions. Additionally, laminar flow cabinets were integrated to provide controlled environments for sensitive procedures, enhancing safety and precision within the laboratory.

The completed cafam laboratory now provides a reliable and safe environment tailored for educational and practical training activities. With durable work surfaces, organized storage systems, ergonomic seating, and controlled airflow solutions, the laboratory supports both teaching and hands on learning.
