Canpack Laboratory

Project designed and executed for Canpack

• Project Overview
The canpack laboratory project, delivered in February 2019, focused on developing a laboratory environment designed to support testing, quality control, and material analysis within packaging production operations. The objective was to create a space that ensures durability, safety, and operational efficiency while handling continuous evaluation of materials used in food, beverage, and chemical packaging. The canpack laboratory required a well organized and controlled layout capable of supporting precise workflows and consistent performance in a production driven environment.

• The Challenge
One of the main challenges of the canpack laboratory project was designing a space capable of supporting continuous testing of packaging materials while maintaining safety, durability, and organization. The laboratory needed to handle different types of materials, including metals and glass, while ensuring accurate analysis and consistent quality standards. Ensuring proper ventilation, efficient workflows, and reliable workstations was essential to maintain productivity. The environment also needed to support ongoing testing processes without interruptions while maintaining structured and controlled operations.

• Our Approach
To address these requirements, the canpack laboratory was developed using materials and equipment selected for resistance, safety, and operational performance. The workstations were built with phenolic countertops, providing chemical resistant and durable surfaces suitable for industrial testing. wood cabinets was incorporated to deliver organized storage while maintaining a functional and structured environment. fume hoods were integrated to ensure proper ventilation during testing processes, and emergency showers were included to enhance safety and ensure immediate response capability within the laboratory.

• The Result
The completed canpack laboratory now provides a reliable and efficient environment tailored for packaging testing and quality control operations. With durable work surfaces, organized storage, and integrated ventilation and safety systems, the laboratory supports consistent workflows and accurate material analysis. The optimized layout allows teams to perform testing processes efficiently within a structured and safe environment, ensuring the laboratory meets the demands of continuous production and quality assurance.
