Saint Mark's University Laboratory

Project designed and executed for Saint Mark´s University

• Project Overview
The saint mark’s university laboratory project focused on developing an educational laboratory environment designed to support academic instruction, student experimentation, and practical learning activities. Delivered in March 2025, the objective was to create a space that balances durability, functionality, and organization in a high usage academic setting. The saint mark’s university laboratory required a flexible and well structured layout capable of supporting multiple students simultaneously while maintaining a professional environment that enhances both teaching effectiveness and hands on learning experiences.

• The Challenge
One of the main challenges of the saint mark’s university laboratory project was designing a space capable of supporting continuous student activity while maintaining safety and organization. Educational laboratories require environments that can handle varied skill levels, constant movement, and frequent use of equipment. Ensuring efficient workflows, clear circulation, and properly organized workstations was essential to prevent disruptions and maintain productivity. The laboratory also needed to support both guided instruction and independent work without compromising structure or operational consistency.

• Our Approach
To address these requirements, the saint mark’s university laboratory was developed using materials and equipment selected for durability and academic performance. The workstations were built with phenolic countertops, providing chemical resistant and easy to maintain surfaces suitable for student use. wood cabinets was incorporated to ensure secure and organized storage, while laboratory chairs were selected to support comfort during extended sessions. Additionally, shelving storage systems were integrated to improve organization and provide efficient access to laboratory materials and tools.

• The Result
The completed saint mark’s university laboratory now provides a reliable and organized environment tailored for educational and academic activities. With durable work surfaces, structured storage solutions, and ergonomic seating, the laboratory supports effective teaching and hands on learning. The space allows students and instructors to operate efficiently within a well organized environment that promotes safety, consistency, and performance, ensuring the laboratory can handle continuous academic use while maintaining a professional and well equipped educational setting.
