• Project Overview
The UPL laboratory project, delivered in July 2024, focused on developing a laboratory environment designed to support agricultural research, product testing, and analysis processes. The objective was to create a space that balances durability, precision, and functionality while supporting workflows related to crop science and agrochemical development. The UPL laboratory required a structured and efficient layout capable of handling controlled testing conditions and detailed analysis within a professional environment aligned with agricultural research and innovation standards.
• The Challenge
One of the main challenges of the UPL laboratory project was designing a space capable of supporting precise agricultural testing while maintaining organization and consistency. Laboratories in the agricultural sector require stable environments for sample analysis and formulation evaluation. Ensuring proper workflow distribution, safe handling of materials, and accurate measurement conditions was essential. The laboratory also needed to maintain durability under continuous use while supporting detailed processes without compromising operational efficiency or workspace organization.
To address these requirements, the UPL laboratory was developed using materials and equipment selected for durability, precision, and operational efficiency. The workstations were built with phenolic countertops, providing resistant and easy to maintain surfaces suitable for laboratory procedures. wood cabinets was incorporated to create organized and accessible storage solutions, while glassware cabinets were added to safely store delicate equipment. Additionally, balance tables were integrated to ensure stable and vibration controlled conditions for accurate measurements and analysis.
• The Result
The completed UPL laboratory now provides a controlled and efficient environment designed to support agricultural testing and research activities. With durable work surfaces, organized storage, and specialized equipment, the laboratory enables precise and consistent workflows. The optimized layout allows teams to perform analysis within a structured and safe environment, improving operational efficiency while maintaining reliability and accuracy in testing processes aligned with modern agricultural laboratory demands.
